Breaking: Hillary supports overturning Citizens United via Constitutional Amendment!

As part of Hillary's listening tour, one of the major points she hit on was the dysfunction in Washington and the need to get money out of politics. This has been my #1 issue for years. Last year during her book tour, she answered my question on Facebook about overturning citizens united and did she say she would consider a constitutional amendment. Well just this morning she doubled down on that statement and went a little further.

I know the predictable response to this would be "THEN WHY ARE YOU TAKING SO MUCH MONEY FROM WALL STREET, BANKS, ETC." But in the current system, if she does not take big money, she will be drowned out by the Republicans who are set to raise record donations from the Kochs and other big monied interests. But it is refreshing to see her speaking so candidly on what I believe is the biggest issue facing the country right now. Until money is out of politics, we cannot progress on income inequality, climate change, wage stagnation, etc.

"We need to fix our dysfunctional political system and get unaccountable money out of it once and for all -- even if it takes a constitutional amendment," Clinton said in opening remarks at a roundtable event with Kirkwood students and instructors.
