Disclaimer: Okay so I’m 1000% behind Hillary. Check my comment history if you doubt me. This isn’t a troll diary, this isn’t a diary meant to be sexist or degrading in anyway. And, yes, I know the same sort of attention doesn’t get put on male candidates. But fortunately or unfortunately, image is a real thing in politics, especially when it comes to female candidates.
I am a fan of Hillary because of her work ethic, her values, and her record. But I’m kind of a stereotypical gay man and unlike some people, find her image to be intriguing. After all it has been the subject of public conversation for 25 years. She has a history of being somewhat of a fashion icon, having been the first First Lady featured on Vogue magazine.
I’m wondering why Hillary always feels the need to cut her hair super short when shes running for office. Do political consultants tell her she should? Is it focus group tested? Or is it just a matter of convenience? Over the four years that she was Secretary of State, she experimented with so many hairstyles. I was kind of bummed when I saw the short cut back when she announced she was running again last spring. I personally think she looks better with at least shoulder length hair, if not longer.
